Our Favorite Ka-Salu Turns One!

The Filipino Restaurant owned by the celebrity couple, Romnick Sarmenta and Harlene Bautista, unlocked another milestone as it celebrates its 1st anniversary last June 9.


Salu aims to provide hungry Manilenos authentic dishes from different parts of the Philippines. Salu serves delectable Filipino dishes including Binagoongang-Lechon Karekare which is currently on the promo of buy 1 take 1 until the end of the month,  Conchinillo, Ginataang Puso ng Saging, Hipon sa Aligue, Pork Ribs, Salu Tinapay, Sinampalukang Hito, Brazo de-kalabasa, Durian cake, and Taho cheesecake.









Aside from tasting different cuisines, guests can also learn how to cook through Luto Ni Nanay. An experienced chef will guide the guest in preparing and cooking the dishes. During the anniversary celebration, the owners also shared some of the highlights of Salu. These includes tie-ups with Hashtag Philippines through Antoinette Taus, where 300 kids are fed with Salu packed lunches which include inspiring notes from different volunteers. Salu was also chosen to represent the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) for the biggest convention in the world, the Madrid Fusion. Salu showcased their best southern dishes which impressed not just the delegates but the culinary experts as well.

As it unfolds another year, Salu is up with another campaign #SarapMabuhay. This campaign aims to highlight the abundance of fresh ingredients that serve as a magic in every dish that we prepare. They also introduced their Pilipinas Platter which includes specialties from different parts of the Philippines. All the dishes are creatively plated on a carved Pilipinas wooden plate.
