Missing Hong Kong
I
really missed Hong Kong. I was browsing through the pages of my blog to
see the post which I made right after I went to this amazing country.
However, I can’t find it. Arggggg! I know that I had posted pictures in
my blog but since I can’t find it, I decided to make a new post.
It was in October of 2006 when I had my Hong Kong tour and it was so great! Tourist will not have a hard time in terms of public transportation because they have several means of transportation. They have the train, buses, ferry boats and cabs. I have tried all these but my ultimate favorite is the ferry boat. It lets you cross from the central going to different places. You won’t get bored because it will only take 5-10 minutes plus it offers a spectacular view of the country specially if you are traveling at night.
To keep the memories alive, I made it a point to capture every moment of my stay there. Here are some of the pictures of great places to visit in Hong Kong.

Avenues of Stars is similar to U.S.A.’s Hollywood. Here you can see the names of famous actors, actresses, singers, and other well known Chinese personalities. At night, you can enjoy the symphony of lights wherein all the buildings displayed different lights, as if the buildings are in harmony with each other. It is similar to an orchestra but as the name implies they used lights instead of music.
I
also went to The Peak. The name speaks for itself, as it is the highest
point in the land. From here, you can see the entire view of the
country. To go their, you need to take the tram which travel in a super
high place. The ride was both tiring and exciting and the view of Hong
Kong is breath taking.
One of the cheapest ways to tour Hong Kong is by visiting their parks. Here you can see different animals, flowers and plants.
Life
underwater is amazing! I felt really in touch with sea creatures when I
went to Ocean Park. They have sharks, sea horses and guess what, I saw
the real Nemo at Ocean Park. They also have panda bears and dolphins.
The sea lion show was nice. I never thought that sea lions were that
talented and trainable. The place also offers exciting rides like roller
coaster, ferries wheel and a lot more. It was also my first time to
ride a cable car and I so love it! I also did Karting. I liked it so
much and I’m hoping to do it again.
Of
all the lovely places that I visited, my favorite remains to be
Disneyland. In the Disney train, I was excited. They say that Disneyland
is the happiest place on earth. When I went to Disneyland, aside from
being super happy, I also felt the child in me. I felt that I was a
small kid who was so happy to see the Disney characters. I had my
picture taken with my favorite Disney character, Donald Duck. I spent
the day by exploring all the rides and watching musical plays. I felt
like a professional driver when I tried Autopia. I was also able to
explore Tarzan’s house. It was a magical feeling seeing the parade of
Disney characters. They end the night with a very beautiful fireworks
display. It was the best firework display that I’ve seen. So magical it
will surely live you in awe.Hong Kong is also known for its cheap commodities. Clothes and shoes are really really cheap. I bought so many souvenir clothes as pasalubong for my friends and relatives. As for me, I had the memories of a fantastic country named Hong Kong.
