HBC National Makeover Day Blogger Event
I have been doing makeup reviews for more than a year now but
attending a blogger's event is something new to me. Surely, I have
attended a lot of beauty work shop as a participant but I was not there
to cover the events and have it on my blog. I was really excited when I
received my first blogger event invite in the mail. I was excited to
attend my first ever blog event and to meet my fellow beauty bloggers.
It was really my pleasure being invited by HBC to be part of the blogger's event that was held last Thursday, June 5 at Stacy's Cafe at The Fort. I love the girly ambiance of this cafe. I feel in love with the cozy feel of this place and who could resist all those pink stuffs in there? Aside from the good vive of this place, they also served delicious meals. Wow! What a way to start this exciting beauty event!
One of the event's organizer and beauty blogger Kumiko Mae gave an inspirational talk on how positive outlook can make you feel gorgeous and face the wold with confidence. That vintage mirror that she kept all those years has been her beauty weapon up to the present time. We also had our time to share to the group our major beauty transformation. It was kind of reminiscing the past where all we have is our comb and ponytails. We all have that ugly duckling moment where we don't even know how to use a compact powder. Those moments where we look so pale in our throwback pictures. I was a self confessed tomboy and this was because I grew up with y two brothers. It was in college when I discovered my love for makeups. I started with a single blush and a drusgtore compact powder and everthing else is history. Who would have guessed that we will have all those beauty regimen? Now, all of us are beauty conscious. We have different routines on taking good care of our skin and by now, we have mastered the art of putting lipstick and doing the perfect winged eyeliner. All these beauty tricks made us feel more confident to face the world.
After sharing our stories, HBC announces the major event that aims to make everyone feel and look good about themselves. On June 12, HBC will have its National Makeover Day that will be held at Trinoma Mall Activity Center. starting at 10AM. Buy HBC products and enjoy free makeovers.
