Product Review: My First Attempt To Try Matte Lipstick

I envy girls on the magazines wearing the perfect matte lipstick that doesn't make their lips cracked. My lips are so dry that I can't live without a lip balm. I remember in my younger days how my lips would chopped and became bloody during summer. And maybe that's the reason why I never dare to try matte lipstick. It looks good on others but I think it won't work on my lips. Until I tried NYX Matte lipstick.

The very first NYX matte lipstick that I fell in love with is NYX Temptress Seductrice. It's a peachy shade that looks natural when applied to your lips. This color reminds me of my teen years. Times when you are too young to be a lady but too old to be a kid. Times when red lipstick is too daring but pink is too girly either. And this peachy color is the perfect color to describe your teen years: SWEET and INNOCENT look.This can be your everyday makeup or the perfect lipstick for Sunday mass.
 The second NYX Matte lipstick that I've tried is the shade in Butter. It is a neutral color that looks brownish pink in color. I tried to pair it with bright shadows or overpower it with a pretty pink blush on so as to contrast my dull looking lips. Would look good on day makeup to achieve that no-makeup-look.
 What I love about NYX Matte lipstick is that it doesn't dry my lips and doesn't feel heavy on the lips either. It's like applying a creamy lippie but with a matte finish.
