Horizons: Charting The Uncharted

Blogapalooza is the biggest blogging event of the year. In this yearly event, bloggers and business owners get the chance to meet in person in pursuing their common goal which is to market their products or services and to be more visible in the world of social media. Over the years, blogging has evolved from being just a hobby to a freelance job that can give you a good source of income.

This is my 2nd year of attending Blogapalooza. This year's theme is Horizons: Charting The Uncharted. This' year's event was held at Novotel in Cubao last November 5. All of the Blogapalooza event that I have attended are really memorable because each year, I get to meet new bloggers and clients as well. It's always nice to mingle with people who share the same interest with you.

A expected, there were a lot of business owners who participated in the event to exhibit the productrs and services that they are selling. From gadgets, to medical products, to hotels, to food & drinks. A lot of games were prepared for bloggers where in they have the chance to win products from the exhibitors. One of the challenges that I enjoy doing is checking for the QR Code for every booth which can give you instant prizes. There were also a lot of business talks on how blogging and social media can help one in growing their business. It was a day filled with fun, prizes and band performances as well.


Blogging has come a long way. From a simple online diary, blogging is now considered as one of the most effective way of promoting brands and products. I'm looking for next year's Blogapalooza event and I hope to meet more bloggers and clients in the future.
