Mariah Carey 2016 Holiday Collection From MAC

Mimi is back! Mariah Carey Holiday Collection from MAC was officially launched in the Philippines last December 15. And yes, there were a lot of items already sold out on the day they introduced the products at MAC stores.

The 2016 Holiday collection is a combination of gold, silver, and glitters. The colors are mostly neutral, nothing too loud or too colorful. The packaging, especially for the lipsticks, is very different from the usual MAC lippies because Mariah's collection are silver glittery tubes. Each lipstick also has a butterfly engraved on the lip color itself.

 The gold highlighter which bears Mariah's cartoon face is sold out on the first day. I've tried it and it's very pigmented and the color is really beautiful!

 I promised myself that I will only get one item because I have hoarded lots of MAC lipstick already for this year. So after years of deciding, I finally settled for MCizzle in Creemsheen which is a soft peach shade. Just a trivia: All lipsticks are more of nude shades, nothing in the family of reds because Mariah does not use red lipstick. The diva thinks that red does not suit her.

The Holiday Collection is the perfect gift for all the Mariah fans out there. The collection includes lipsticks, eye shadow palette, blush on, lipglass, highlighter, loose powder and makeup brushes.  All shades are wearable even on day time.
