I am a registered nurse but have a short stint as a hemodialysis nurse. I found solace in the corporate world where I worked as a call center agent for seven years. On the side, I also do freelance writing. I started my blog in 2007 which served as my online outlet of emotions. Writing has always been a part of my life. Back then, I always feel the need to impress all the people around me and to get their approval as if it is the ultimate measurement of my totality as a person. I always feel pressured to act according to the standards set by the society. I embraced writing because I feel total freedom whenever I write. My writings can sound fierce and convincing as opposed to my weak and insecure personality. Writing has been my weapon which adds depth to my character that I can never put into actions.

Being a freelance writer has helped me to develop my confidence. My personal blog paves way for me to get paid writing gigs. Seeing my articles in different websites has been my source of happiness and inspiration ever since. Fast forward to 2010, I decided that beauty, fashion, and lifestyle will be my niche. With hard work coupled with some luck, I was able to establish myself as an online influencer. Since then, I have been invited to numerous media events and product launching and also to do blog reviews. Sponsorship and collaborations with different brands became frequent and this made me realize that slowly, my dreams are coming true.

I value my work as a freelance writer and blogger but I see to it that I also reward myself for a job well done. During stressful situations, I love to do solo travels. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, learning new things and experiencing the colorful and unique culture from other parts of the globe. During my downtime, I also enjoy reading books. My favorite authors are Paulo Coelho and Mitch Albom.
Outside of work, I am a mom to my two adorable boys.
I am fit to become a #WIMtern because aside from having the enthusiasm to learn new things, I also have the willingness to unlearn things that will help me to grasp more knowledge. I have been writing for a decade now but I believe that there are more things to discover and to learn. For me, writing is more of a passion than a profession. My burning desire to make it big in this industry someday is my daily motivation to do my best. Aside from being passionate about writing, I am also resilient to change. I can adapt to any situation easily and I can act both as a leader and a follower. I am not afraid of failures. I always treat challenges and rejections as temporary setbacks. I move on from my mistakes but carry all the lessons with me. I am a firm believer that hard work will take you to your dreams. Efforts and sacrifices will always be reciprocated. If not today, then sometime in the future.
