Why I want to be a #BlogOPPOlis Creator Scholar

by - March 27, 2018

Being a blogger for more than a decade now has given me the opportunity to meet new friends, cover big events, experience new adventures, and most of all improve one of the things I love the most and that is writing. Although I came from a different field and does not have any formal training in writing, my passion fuels my desire to be a known content writer and blogger in the future. I have had numerous websites where my writings have been published, both local and international sites. Still, I am always in search of training and workshops that can improve my skill set and hopefully develop new skills. Being with my fellow bloggers have also helped me improve my blog as a whole. The positive criticisms I openly accepted are the things that have given my writings more substance and value.

I wanted to be part of #BlogOPPOlis Content Scholar not just to showcase my works but also to inspire new writers and bloggers to start reaching for their dreams and to never give up. I feel the sentiments of newbie writers who feel at a loss no matter how smart they are, who feel discourage no matter how high their self-esteem is, and those who feel no good no matter how brilliant their minds are. Sometimes, all it takes is a word of encouragement for others to jumpstart their career. To add, you don’t even have to be well known or powerful to be able to make a huge difference in others' lives, ambitions, and aspirations. A kind word or a simple act can uplift their moods, boost their confidence and enable them to start crafting their masterpieces.

Being successful in whatever field one wishes to leave his mark on is not just about seeing yourself on top or achieving your life goals. Being successful can be equated to the number of lives you have touched and the dreams you have helped to shape and turn into reality. And joining #BlogOPPOlis as a content scholar will be a great avenue to empower aspiring writers.
