Gardenia Plant Tour and KIddie Workshop 2018
Summer is the time for kids to enjoy their vacation while away from school activities. Although engaging with outdoor activities and playing with their gadgets would surely make them giddy, at times I am still looking for activities that is both fun and educational.
Good thing that Gardenia opened its doors to mommy bloggers to have a plant tour and summer workshop for kids. The first ever Gardenia Kiddie Workshop was held in 2017 and since then, thousands of kids had an ultimate
bread journey workshop experience.
On May 16, me and my fellow bloggers together with our kids have witnessed the delicious world of Gardenia. Located in Binan Laguna, Gardenia Plant has been a favorite field trip destination for most schools in the country.
Here are some of the fun activities prepared by Gardenia during our plant visit.
Coloring Activity
The first activity brought out the creativity of our kids.
Dough Making
Kids are taught how dough are made from scratch.
Plant Tour
Here, kids were assigned to every station where they tour their parents and narrate what these stations do.
Figurine Making
This is the ultimate bonding time between moms and kids as they color a Gardenia loaf figurine.
Bread Store Junior Crew
In this role-playing activity, kids were assigned to sell Gardenia products to their parents and they did everything from persuading us to buy, doing the POS and handing the products to the parents who acted as customers.
Cooking
Kids love to eat but they also want to prepare their own food! Our kids were taught 3 simple recipes that can either be a baon for school or a snack to be shared with their friends.
Polvoron
Ham and cheese pinwheel
Twiggies cake pop
It was a day of fun and learning and I'm sure kids (and moms too!) enjoyed the day tour. Thank you so much Gardenia for the summer workshop!
