Day and Night Look With Althea Cosmetics

As a self-confessed makeup addict, I make sure to try the latest beauty products. We all know how good Korean skincare products are but their cosmetics are also a must try. I was lucky to get these beauty products and I am sharing with you my Althea makeup haul and some looks you can create using these products.

Eye Palette Sunrise and Moonrise
When buying cosmetics, I find it really worth the money if the items are versatile and can give me different looks. So when Althea Korea released its first ever eye shadow palette, I know this is something I have to try. This gorgeous eye palette is Althea’s collaboration with Indonesian actress and singer, Bunga Citra Lestari. BCL as her fans called her, is also a fashion icon. Sunrise and Moonrise eye palette has eight gorgeous shades that can take your look from office look to a date night look. Shades can either be glittery and shimmery or matte, but every color is pigmented and glides easily on the skin which makes it easy to blend and effortless to create different looks. Some colours can be used as highlighter too!

Watercolor Cream Tint
I have always wanted a lip product that will give me the pigmentation of a lipstick but is also packed with lip moisturizers. Good thing that Althea heard my wish. Watercolor Cream Tint will give you the best of both worlds by giving your lips a good color pay off and at the same time won’t dry your lips. These cream tints contain hyaluronic acid that attracts moisture to the skin and squalene which conditions the lips to prevent chapped and dry lips. Each tube is pigmented and color is rich even on the first swipe. It comes in 4 gorgeous shades that will suit every mood and occasion.
Plum Cream
A luxurious plum shade that is perfect for a night out.

Strawberry Cream
This rich red color will give you a bold and fierce look.

Peach Cream
A fresh coral look with pink undertones that will look good on either warm or cool skin tone. Perfect for that coffee date or a-walk-in-the-park dates.

Marron Cream

Flawless Cream Concealer
Aside from dark spots and acne, we all wanted to hide dark circles and uneven skin tone. Before applying foundation, it is best to conceal these imperfections so our skin looks flawless. Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer is pigmented and blendable that prepares the skin and turns it into a perfect canvas prior to application of foundation. It contains Aquaxyl which is derived from birch tree sap and responsible for creating a hydrated barrier on the skin to prevent it from drying.

It comes in 4 shades namely Mocha, Honey, Ginger, Vanilla to suit every skin tone. You can even use it either to contour and highlight your features which makes it a multi-purpose beauty product.

Skin Relief Spot Film Gel
What a nightmare it is to wake up with zits on your face knowing that you have special events that you need to attend that day! I know the feeling and this has happened a lot of times already. Good thing that emergency creams are here to the rescue! To make those red marks vanish or at least unnoticeable, try Althea Skin Relief Spot Film Gel. It is a revolutionary formula that creates a smooth canvas so your skin looks flawless. Apply thinly on the problem area, let it dry and proceed with your makeup regimen. Make your eyes even more beautiful with these Spotlight Eye Glitter. This is a multi-purpose beauty product that can be used as an eyeshadow or an eyeliner. It instantly gives those peeps the spark it needed and hide those tired looking eyes. It is packed with Squalene that conditions and improves the suppleness of the skin. Its finely milled shimmer pigments will surely leave your eyes with a reflective glow! Available in Gold Light and Pink Light.

Did you know that you can easily create day and night look using these beauty products? Here is a quick tutorial on how to create different looks.

Day look:

1. Apply concealer to cover imperfections. I am using Flawless Cream Concealer in Mocha.
2. Using a sponge or foundation blush, apply your favorite foundation or BB cream. My current fave is Porefection BB Cream by Althea.
3. Using an eye shadow brush, apply eye shadow #2 on your entire lids.
4. Aply eye shadow #1 on the outer corner of each eye.
5. Using Pink Ligheye glitter, line your lids with a thin layer, just enough to create a hint of glitter.
5. Apply two coats of castor oil on your lashes.
6. Apply blush on the apple of your cheeks.
7. Finish your look with a thin coat of Watercolor Cream in Peach Cream.

Night look:
1. Apply concealer to cover imperfections. I am using Flawless Cream Concealer in Mocha.
2. Using a sponge or foundation bush, apply your favorite foundation or BB cream. y current fave is Porefection BB Cream by Althea.
3. Using an eye shadow brush, apply eye shadow #7 on your entire lids.
4. Apply eye shadow #6, create a V shape on the corners of both eyes.
5. Using a blending brush, blend the eye shadow so it does not have rough edges.
6. Apply two coats of black mascara on your lashes.
7. Apply blush on the apple of your cheeks.
8. Finish your look with a thin coat of Watercolor Cream in Plum Cream.
