The Famous Camp Curry In Tokyo Is Now In Marikina
Calling all adventure seekers out there! The newest food camp is now open in the heart of Marikina City. On 14 February, Camp Curry opened its newest branch at the upper ground level of Ayala Malls Feliz. This is the second branch in the country of the famous restaurant concept that originated in Japan. The ambiance and overall feel of the restaurant will give you that outdoor adventure vibe.
Camp Curry had its humble beginning in Tokyo back in 2007. It was a concept of Takashi Sato who was passionate about camping and outdoor activities. Their menu consisted of vegetable dishes. Fast forward to 2019, it has over 30 branches all over Japan, Bangkok, and the Philippines.
Upon entering Camp Curry, you will be greeted with a mountain bike. Hanging on one corner are camping bags with night lamps serving as a decoration in their long table. Every table also has camping thermos to complete your camping experience. Greens are very much evident in this concept store which adds up to that outdoor feel. This branch can accommodate 36 people.
Camp Curry serves vegetable dishes, grilled pork, beef, chicken and shrimp with a variety of curry sauces to choose from. From their open kitchen, you can have a peak on how these foods are being prepared.
Here's what I had for lunch at Camp Curry.
Here's what I had for lunch at Camp Curry.
BBQ Pork Belly and Chunky Vegetables PHP330
Perfectly roasted pork belly with veggies on the side. And since I am a cheese person, I decided to try their cheese curry. It's literally so cheesy and it tastes so well with the curry sauce.
Mango Lassi PHP180
House-made yogurt drink made even special with mango puree.
Overall experience was superb! Food tastes good and every corner is Instagram worthy! Plus, the staff are very attentive to all your needs.
And for dessert, try Camp S'more Special PHP180
Combination of toasted marshmallows on a bed of graham biscuits with chocolate syrup and topped with matcha ice cream.
