Bon Appetea In Katipunan Is Now Open!
I am a self-confessed milk tea addict and I have been to a lot of milk tea stores. There are different milk tea store concepts but I go for milk tea shops with good ambiance, free WiFi, and with delicious foods. And luckily, all these can be found at Bon Appetea Milagrosa, Katipunan which is literally a few blocks from my place. Bon Appetea is the new addition to the long stretch of restaurants in the busy street of Katipunan.
Unlike most milk tea shops, Bon Appetea is spacious, well-lighted and offers a reliable WiFi connection.
Aside from milk and fruit teas, they also served rice bowls, waffles, and pasta. To be honest, I am not expecting too much about their food choices because I know that this is a milk tea place. But Bon Appetea proved me wrong. All the foods that I've tried taste good.
For rice bowl, I would recommend the Sirloin Tapa Niner Bowl (PHP139) which is very meaty, tender and full of flavor. It’s more on the salty taste which my taste buds really liked. All Niner Bowl Meals come with free iced tea.
For waffle, must try is their peanut butter waffle (PHP65) which comes with a generous amount of yummy peanut butter. I’m a big fan of peanut butter and Bon Appetea’s peanut butter waffle is a sure winner!
For pasta lovers, Penne and Cheese (PHP119) is something worth trying. It’s oozing with creamy white sauce that comes with toasted bread. I'm a cheese person and the cheese sauce of this pasta is perfect!
For those planning to have milk tea with their buddies, try their Milk Tea Tower Session (PHP549) which is good for 5 packs and comes with 3 sinkers namely black pearl, egg pudding, and coffee jelly. You also get to choose between flavored fries or nachos.
And the verdict? The foods are delicious, with generous serving and affordable. The place is big with a relaxing vibe and comfortable environment.
The designs are minimalist which is my preference. Perfect place to have breakfast, to do some online work, and also the best place for some catching up with old pals. The place is pet-friendly too so you are free to bring your fur babies with you.
